This Mobile App Privacy Policy explains how Data Driverz Inc. (“Data Driverz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when authorized dealership personnel use the Data Driverz mobile app and the services available through it.

Information the mobile app handles

The mobile app may handle the following categories of information:

• Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, user and device identifiers, job title, department, role, dealership affiliation, and authentication information.
• Dealership, vehicle, and business information: dealer identifiers, VINs, vehicle year, make, model, trim, mileage, pricing, photos, inventory and acquisition information, sales and lead information, marketing and reporting data, notes, vendor information, and dealership settings.
• Content you provide: typed questions, chat messages, smart-search requests, search history, voice recordings, audio transcripts, photos or videos, uploaded files, knowledge materials, and other content you choose to submit.
• Usage and diagnostic information: product interactions, feature usage, browser or device information, IP address, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic information used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we collect information

We collect information:

• Directly from you when you sign in, search, chat, speak, photograph, upload, or otherwise use a feature
• From your dealership or organization when it creates or manages your account and connects dealership systems
• From the device and browser used to access the app, including through analytics and error-monitoring technology
• From dealership integrations and data providers that your organization authorizes Data Driverz to use

How we use information

We use information to:

• Authenticate users and provide dealership-specific access
• Provide inventory, acquisition, reporting, search, communication, and other requested app features
• Generate AI-assisted answers, filters, summaries, observations, image or VIN analysis, forecasts, and decision-support results
• Maintain preferences and settings
• Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, secure the service, prevent misuse, and improve performance
• Provide support and meet applicable legal and contractual obligations

AI features and OpenAI

Data Driverz uses OpenAI as a third-party AI service provider for features such as Maxx, smart search, voice tools, photo and VIN tools, image analysis, and AI-generated observations or summaries. When you choose to use one of these features, Data Driverz sends OpenAI the information needed to complete that request.

Depending on the feature and your request, information sent to OpenAI may include:

• The text you type, prior messages needed to understand the conversation, and smart-search requests
• Audio you choose to record for transcription and the resulting transcript
• Photos, image URLs, or vehicle images you choose to analyze
• Dealership and vehicle context such as dealer identifiers, VIN, year, make, model, trim, mileage, pricing, inventory, acquisition, sales, lead, marketing, or reporting information
• Relevant profile or organization context, which may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles, departments, titles, or dealership-user information
• Relevant vendor, account, contract, uploaded-file, knowledge, note, or historical-report information when needed to answer the request

OpenAI processes this information to generate and return the requested result to Data Driverz. You can decline to use AI-powered features and continue using app features that do not require sending information to OpenAI.

How we share information

We may share information as needed to operate the service:

• OpenAI: to provide the AI-powered features described above.
• Service providers: providers that support hosting, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, communications, billing, security, and customer support.
• Your organization: authorized dealership administrators and users may access information according to their roles and the organization's configuration.
• Legal and safety disclosures: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the security or integrity of the service.

We do not sell personal information. Our agreements require representatives permitted to access confidential information to be bound by confidentiality protections at least as restrictive as our own obligations.

Storage and retention

Some app information, such as authentication state, settings, and AI-consent choices, may be stored locally on your device or in the app's browser storage. You can remove local app information by signing out, clearing app or browser data, or uninstalling the app, depending on the type of information.

Information sent to Data Driverz services is retained according to Data Driverz's internal retention practices and the applicable agreement with your organization. Retention varies based on the type of information and the purposes for which it is used, including service delivery, security, support, legal, and contractual requirements.

Your choices and requests

• You can choose not to use AI, voice, camera, photo, upload, or other optional features
• You can control camera and microphone access through your device settings
• You can ask your dealership administrator to update account or organization information
• You can contact Data Driverz Support to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account; requests are handled subject to applicable law and the agreement with your organization

Security

Data Driverz uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

Children's privacy

The mobile app is designed for authorized dealership personnel and is not intended for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app and its data practices change. We will update the effective date above when changes are made.
